Discover the Dordogne Valley
Visit the Dordogne
The ideal location of our campsite Les Granges will allow you to discover the wonders of the Dordogne. First of all, its green landscape in the valley and mineral on the causse will amaze and enchant you. This territory is an ode to roaming on foot, by bike, motorbike or car. You will be surprised by the discovery of a village, a castle at each meander.
In the causse you will find traces of the first men who used the caves, by visiting the Musée de l’homme de Neandertal at the chapelle aux Saints, and you will imitate their way of life by taking part in the workshops at the Archéosite des Fieux.
Still in the causse, you will discover many dolmens, indeed, the department is, after Brittany and Aveyron, the richest in megalithic sites.
